Overview

North Bali is a different world — calmer seas, fewer crowds, and a raw, authentic Balinese atmosphere that the tourist south has long since surrendered. This full-day expedition takes you to the black-sand shores of Lovina Beach (famous for its wild dolphin sunrise), the serene Buddhist monastery of Brahma Vihara Arama, the naturally heated jungle pools of Banjar Hot Springs, and the multi-tiered Gitgit Waterfall — North Bali’s most
spectacular cascade

Highlights

  • Lovina Beach — relaxed black-sand beach on Bali's calm northern coast
  • Brahma Vihara Arama (Banjar Buddhist Temple) — Bali's largest and most ornate Buddhist monastery
  • Banjar Hot Springs — naturally heated mineral pools set in lush tropical jungle
  • Gitgit Waterfall — iconic 40-metre multi-tiered waterfall near Singaraja

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: Can we see dolphins at Lovina Beach on this tour?

A: The dolphin watching cruise departs at
sunrise (around 6:00 AM) and is a separate activity. If you’d like to combine the dolphin cruise
with this tour, see our “Lovina Dolphin Morning Package” (Package 12 or 13), which includes
both

Q: What are the Banjar Hot Springs like?

A: The Banjar Hot Springs feature a series of carved
stone pools fed by naturally heated volcanic mineral water at approximately 38°C. Surrounded
by jungle, the pools are beautiful and relaxing. Swimwear is required

Q: Is Gitgit Waterfall crowded?

A: Gitgit is popular but the afternoon timing of our visit means
fewer visitors. The walk to the waterfall takes about 20 minutes through bamboo forest and
paddy fields

Q: Why does this tour cost more and take 12 hours?

A: North Bali is a significantly longer drive than Central Bali destinations — approximately 2.5 hours each way. The 12-hour duration reflects the genuine travel time required to experience the north properly.
